Mayday Parade has unleashed their new track, “Lying To Myself,” preceded by “Weekend Music” and “Blame It On The Youth.” All singles are set to appear on Sugar, out July 24, which marks their final album in their three-part LP series.

The band shares on social media, “The song digs into themes of denial and those moments where you’re finally forced to be honest with yourself. Paired with driving guitars, it’s classic Mayday Parade, dontcha think?”

Guitarist Brooks Betts expands on his process and explains, “I had worked on this song for a month and couldn’t get the vibe right until Alex gave me the idea to go a bit more minor with the chorus and the whole thing just fell into place.”
