Epitaph is located on Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood, California.

Fourth quarter releases will include new titles from the (International) Noise Conspiracy ‘New Morning, Changing Weather’, R.L. Burnside ‘Burnside On Burnside Live’ and Merle Haggard ‘Roots Vol. 1.’ The 2002 release schedule includes new records by Bad Religion, Tom Waits, DJ Muggs (from Cypress Hill), Millencolin, and The Promise Ring. The label has also developed a successful catalog that includes such artists as Bad Religion, Pennywise, Joe Strummer (ex-Clash), NOFX, The Offspring, Rancid and Tom Waits.

Michael Rosenberg, President of KOCH International says, “We are extremely excited to have Epitaph join our select roster of distributed labels. Epitaph’s superb track record with new titles and artists and their incredibly strong catalog greatly enhances our presence in rock. It also significantly increases Koch’s overall share of the independent music market. Our entire staff is looking forward to working with the professionals at Epitaph.” Andy Kaulkin, President of Epitaph adds, “We are very excited to be working with KOCH. Their enthusiasm and dedication is unsurpassed in the world of distribution. Also, the fact that they are 100% independent makes them a perfect partner for Epitaph.”
