K.Flay is back and better than ever. And she’s singing what we’re all thinking on her new single, “Ants.” This single was preceded by an album from her side project 2XT.
She shared on social media, “This song is about the destructive nature of power. It’s an expression of the disillusionment I feel when I look out at the world right now, when I see what corporations and governments and billionaires are doing. It’s also an expression of my own sense of culpability.”
K.Flay added, “Because I wear boots. I kill ants. So, there are levels to this power, this loss. And as humans, we all have to decide — whether consciously or not — how much we’re willing to destroy. Thanks in advance for listening. I’m so happy to be back.”
