J-Lo Says "I Do''

Singer-actress Jennifer Lopez has married choreographer Cris Judd in a private ceremony near Los Angeles, her spokesman confirmed Sunday.

The nondenominational ceremony took place Saturday evening at a private residence in Calabasas and was attended by about 170 guests, said Alan Nierob, a spokesman for Lopez.

“It was beautiful. The couple couldn’t be happier,” Nierob said of the wedding, which came seven months after Lopez publicly split from rap impresario Sean “Puffy” Combs.

Lopez, 31, and Judd, 32, reportedly met while he was working on one of her music videos. More recently he choreographed two Lopez concerts shot in Puerto Rico for an upcoming NBC television special.

Benny Medina, Lopez’s manager, was best man and Arlene Rodriguez, a childhood friend, served as maid-of-honor. Attorney Barry Hirsch presided over the ceremony. Lopez’s dress was designed by Valentino.

Calabasas is located about 20 miles northwest of downtown Los Angeles.

Judd is the Bronx-born Latina bombshell’s second husband. Her previous one-year marriage to male model Ojani Noa ended in divorce in 1998. Judd has never been married before.

A highly publicized two-year romance between Lopez and Combs came to an end earlier this year with a Valentine’s Day announcement of the breakup by Combs.

The split came as Combs was on trial in New York on weapons and bribery charges while Lopez was basking in the twin successes of her chart-topping album, “J.Lo,” and her movie “The Wedding Planner.” Combs, who now goes by the moniker “P. Diddy,” was later acquitted.

Lopez, famed for her appearance at the 2000 Grammys in a gravity-defying Versace dress, was last in theaters in the mystery “Angel Eyes.” She recently completed production on the thriller “Enough,” due for release next May.
