Super Sometimes joined us for their idobi Session to perform “Say Something Now” this week. After the release of their debut album Show The World What’s Underneath earlier this year via Pure Noise Records, the band has been on an upward trajectory in making a mark on the pop-punk scene. Their sound is somewhat reminiscent of staple acts like Neck Deep or The Story So Far, but they are more akin to those bands in their promise to become a beacon of the scene. Super Sometimes is still early in their career and showing immense signs that they are here to stay. They are the new wave of pop-punk and they prove it the most live during their idobi Session.
“’Show the World What’s Underneath” is us staking our flag in the ground as one of the torchbearers of pop-punk. There’s a little bit of something for everybody. Our take on the genre will definitely be a breath of fresh air for those who have been looking for something a little different in the scene. We hope it inspires more people to fall in love with pop-punk the same way we did growing up,” the band shares.

“You have your whole life to make your first album, and we truly spent a lot of time and put a lot of love into crafting something we’re proud of,” the band continues. “We hope it inspires more people to fall in love with pop-punk the same way we did growing up. This album is the first of many. At the end of the day, we’re just three best friends who love making music and playing shows, and we’re going to take this dream as far as it can go”
