Canadian pop-punk trio, Full Throttle, is paying homage to their roots in a new track featuring Cone McCaslin from Sum 41. “Generation of Tomorrow” is reminiscent of a long-lost Sum 41 track with a modern spin. It is obvious that Full Throttle is inspired by the likes of bands like Sum 41, blink-182, New Found Glory, and more—it only makes sense they’d tap a pop-punk legend like Cone to bring this song to life. Cone not only features on the track, but he also co-wrote and produced “Generation of Tomorrow.”
It is inspiring to see someone like Cone, who has lead the scene for decades, give back to the new generation (no pun intended) of up-and-coming pop-punkers. It is the cherry on top that they are also all from Canada. Good vibes all around! Cone also makes a cameo in Full Throttle’s music video for the song. Check it out, and hear the track spinning in rotation now on idobi Radio.
This is especially special to idobi because Cone hosts his very own radio show and podcast on idobi Radio called Cone’s Cave. It is live on idobi every Monday at 7pm ET. You can catch up on all the latest episodes here.
