The family of Destiny’s Child’s former manager is suing for $32 million. Original co-manager of the band Ann Tillman looked after the act with Mathew Knowles from 1991 and was still in the job when they signed to Sony in 1997.
Although Ann has since passed away, her family is suing for 50% of the management, which has all now gone to Knowles.
They estimate that after selling 64 million records, the figure is around the $32m mark owed. They say they have seen nothing.
A trial gets underway in July.
