5 Songs You Need To Know Before Summer School Tour

idobi Radio Summer School Tour 2025

The idobi Radio Summer School Tour is back for its third year, and the lineup isn’t wasting any time. Kicking off June 19 at the Observatory North Park in San Diego, this year’s run brings together Games We Play, Chase Petra, South Arcade, and Winona Fighter, with Honey Revenge leading the pack on every stop, before closing out the run at Vans Warped Tour Long Beach. Before school is officially back in session, these are the five songs you need to know.

Honey Revenge — “Risk”

Let’s get this out of the way: yes, “Airhead” is the obvious answer. Everyone knows it. That’s exactly why we’re not talking about it.

“Risk” is the first real look at what comes after the debut album—and it feels like a shift. It’s sharper, more intentional, and leans into the push and pull that Honey Revenge thrives on. This is the next version of the band, not the one you already have saved to all of your playlists. This is also a major return, with the duo returning for Junior Year after acting as an opener during Freshman Year.

Games We Play — “Is This What I’m Made Of”

Games We Play hit reset—and you can hear it immediately. After a few turbulent years, “Is This What I’m Made Of” feels like starting over without pretending nothing happened. It’s raw in a way the project hasn’t been before, and it points toward something more grounded. If this is the foundation, this next era might be the one that sticks.

Chase Petra — “Famous”

“Famous” cuts through all the overthinking and over-curation that’s taken over alternative music. It’s loose, self-aware, and painfully relatable without trying to package itself into something polished. There’s something about Chase Petra’s sonic approach and attitude that feels rare right now.

South Arcade — “stone cold summer”

South Arcade aren’t just tapping into early 2000s pop-punk—they’re flipping it into something new. “stone cold summer” feels like everything you grew up on, but faster, brighter, and a little more chaotic. It’s the kind of track that’s built for this exact setting—loud, sweaty, and immediate. This set is going to land.

Winona Fighter — “HAMMS IN A GLASS”

You couldn’t pay me enough money to stop singing this song at the top of my lungs. From the first line, “And I’m getting closer to blowing my fucking brains/Out of money,” to the layered vocal chorus, “HAMMS IN A GLASS” hits like a release valve. It’s frantic, unfiltered, and impossible to sit still through. Winona Fighter taps into something that feels real in a way a lot of bands miss, and live, this is going to go off. No question.
