Lifehouse is on the radio-festival circuit, and the band plays WHTZ (Z100) New York’s Jingle Ball tomorrow night (December 13). The group is also looking ahead to the follow-up to its smash album, No Name Face. Singer-songwriter Jason Wade revealed about the balance between the next album and the road. “All we’ve had time for is to get songs together for the next record.”
Wade also revealed that the band’s next album will likely show influences by U2 and his new favorite band, Coldplay. “They’ve been a big influence on us this last year, so I don’t know,” he said. “It won’t sound like it, but you’ll probably hear some influences just like in chord changes and stuff between those two bands, so we’ll see what happens.”
As for an album title, Wade added: “I’ve been thinking about it, but nothing has come to me yet. Usually that stuff will kind of unfold while we’re making the project.”
