Superstar rapper DMX will launch Hoodstock, a free, 14-city tour Friday (October 12) to promote his fourth album, The Great Depression. The album is scheduled to be released on October 23. Instead of performing at nightclubs or amphitheaters, DMX’s shows will take place on an 18-wheel truck that transforms into a stage.
The exact location and time for each show will be announced on local radio stations the day of the concert. DMX will perform songs from each of his albums. The artist recently released two singles from the new album, “We Right Here,” and “Who We Be.” The Great Depression includes collaborations with Faith Evans, Stephanie Mills, and production from Swizz Beatz.
